MAJOR STUFF

  • Online leaderboards are now here, built-in. Thanks for playing
  • New enemies:
    •  Revenant. Cunning and stealthy, they try to snipe you from afar, bend light to cloak themselves and have a dangerous close-range bomb attack
    • Shielder. Exists solely to shield other ships. Complain to me about any weird interactions.
  • New track with a darker, grittier tone
  • Waves
    • The state of a proper campaign is not something I can confirm at this point, so waves have been expanded to 30
    • Waves are now online-based, but there is an option to use the ones in the local wave file. Edit it at your own risk.

BALANCE CHANGES:

  • Dash energy cost removed. Rejoice
  • Rockets stick to their targets a little bit longer
  • Module update:
    • Almost all module scaling has been reduced
    • This is because advanced (green) modules have received new passive effects to make their gameplay more varied and interesting
    • Notable changes:
      • Health module reworked to shield module - provides a shield rechargeable with collected energy
      • Reload rerouter passive duplicates shots
      • Scrap recycler passive enables leeching health from enemies with the drill
    • Module system is still under construction. State of the art (yellow) modules will receive their own unique effects in the next update
  • Energy crystals no longer give points
  • Reaper buffed with more speed, dodges and fire rate
  • Trailer damage, knockback resistance and detection radius increased as they became useless last update.
  • Laser tier 3 damage reduced 24 -> 22

GRAPHICS CHANGES:

  • Sprite updates! Overall bigger enemies that are easier to hit
  • Font reworked to be more consistent
  • Ship mini-hud is bigger and can be shown permanently
  • Trails look cooler

MISC:

  • Bugs have been fixed
  • Secret added
